いつもブラウザーは、インターネットエクスプローラー（以下、IE）を使ってたので、以前も一度導入しようとした時にエラーとChromeを使えと警告文が出たので、導入せずにいました。
ただ、最近はマイクロソフトもブラウザをエッジに切り替えていってる為にIEの更新は止まってしまい、表示できない物もチラホラ出始めて困ってはいました。
IEの方が慣れてるのもあるけど、使い勝手が良くて好きだったんだよね。
お気に入りを表示できる数とか画面の比率とか設定の細かい所とか、そういう部分が
Chromeは、パスワード記憶しますか？がとにかくメンドクサイ。何か入れる度に聞かれて疲れた、画面も絶対値だったので下の方が見えなくなりがちで、大抵動画を観つつ何かをしてるので、ずらして表示をさせてる自分にはなかなか辛かった。
しかし、これを使わなければ「Search Console」は使えないと思い、Chromeを使うとあっさりインストールできた。

いやね、分かってはいたことだけど、以前相当苦労して諦めたのが嘘のように出来た。囲い込みの一巻だから仕方ないのだろうけどね。
そして、ページを開くと、指示が色々と出てる。
１・サイトを追加
２・優先するバージョンを設定
３・国を選択
４・サイトユーザーを管理
５・サイトマップを送信
とりあえず、順番にこなしていく。指示に従っていけば思った以上に簡単に進んでいったのですが、５番のサイトマップだけが、どうしてもうまくいかず。後々になって単純ミスと分かったけれども
WordPressには、Googleにサイトマップを作成して送信してくれるPluginで『Google XML Sitemaps』という物があり、自分も導入しているのですがデータを送信してないらしく、「サイトマップを追加してください。」これだけが上手くいきませんでした。（おかしいな～エラーは出まくるし、プラグインも入れてるはずなのに）と思い、検索してみると…

③ もしもこのように「検索エンジンは通知されていません。あなたのサイトマップを知らせるには投稿を書いて下さい」と出てきた場合はなんですが、これはGoogle XML Sitemapsの最新バージョン4.X以降に起きる不具合みたいです。
というのを見つけ、実際には指してるものが違ってたのに、「google xml sitemaps」のダウングレードをワードプレスプラグイン公式ページの右側ダウンロードの下にある詳細を表示から画面下の方にあれう開発バーションのタブから該当のバージョンを落とせば良いのに、これまた気づかずに作者のサイトで、英語を少しづつ訳しつつ該当の場所を見つけて、インストールにまで漕ぎ着ける遠回りをしました。
ところが、勘違いのため当然上手くいかず頭を抱える事に（＾－＾；
再度検索をかけると、GoogleのCrawlerはXML形式で読み込む為にその形にすることと、とある相談サイトに（失念した上に検索かけてもログが流れて無くなったよう）サイトの一部だけマッピングされないと相談してる方に、回答者の方が「サイトマップ出来てますよ」と答えてURLを出してて、ようやく自分は理解orz
Plugin自体は送信は分からないけど、MAP自体は作成してる（かもしれない）ので、それを読み込ませれば良いと思い立ち実行。まずは確認のために、URLを打ち込む場所に自分のサイトアドレス＋sitemap.xmlを入力してみる・。・
このサイトの場合は『https:starry-night.blue/sitemap.xml』と入力してみると、

これにて、自分のサイトのXMLが出来てる事を確認
何度目かになる「Search Console」への入力を挑戦
サイトマップの追加/テストから、まずはテストで入力確認
青の部分は出てるので、桃色の部分の「sitemap.xml」を入力
テストの結果を待って…待って～エラー無し…よっし！！
そして本番だったけど、拍子抜けする位あっさりやれました。
ワードプレスを使ってるこのblogでは、何とかクリア
自動で生成送信登録されないなら、自分で入れればいいじゃない♪
どこぞのお船の背伸び娘の言葉が頭をよぎりましたが、Consoleで確認したらしっかりと登録されてました。
そして、上で赤字で書いた『送信してないらしく』、勘違いの極み！そりゃ、Googleには送信されてるだろうけど、Google Consoleには送信されて無いわなぁ～というヲチ。気づいた後の恥ずかしさと凹み具合、かなり泣けました（＾－＾；
せっかくなんで、他にもサイトを作った時の為にジャビット君に他にも無いか聞いたら

こういう便利なサイトがあるようで、もっと早く知ってればなぁ～
blogやHomepageを作成されてる方で、Google Consoleの導入を考えられてる人は良いかなぁ～と思います。
